Introduction to Kaili City
Kaili is a small town that serves as a major hub for visiting the countless minorities in eastern Guizhou. The town itself has a minority museum displaying their various traditional costumes and artifacts.

What to see in Kaili?
Langde Miao Village
A beautiful village with an impressive traditional organization, in a sublime setting. Performances are regularly performed on the main square.

Leigong Shan Protected Area

This mountainous area offers magnificent hikes through a primeval forest, waterfalls and a multitude of small villages to meet the minorities.

Xijiang Miao Village
This succession of five villages sloping down to a river is the largest Miao settlement. Beautiful hikes in the surrounding area allow you to better understand the organization of the village.

Fanpai Miao Village
A saying goes that the road to get to a destination is half the fun of the journey. This is indeed the case for access to this village, which is revealed after a panorama of terraced fields as far as the eye can see. Taijiang Miao Village
This important village hosts a large market every five days that will not only make you discover Miao crafts and art, but also some very pretty streets. Fans can also visit a small embroidery museum.

Gejia Village of Matang
The Gejia have been classified as belonging to the Miao minority, which was met with discontent from the two ethnic groups who have very different languages ​​and customs. Renowned for their expertise in making batik costumes, you will see that the Gejia villagers still wear this traditional costume made of batik and embroidery.

Making a grand cru of green tea
Yunwu, a village located near Dunyun and its hills, is home to a grand cru of green tea: white down tea. Between the end of March and the beginning of May, tea is made in the village of Yangwang (7km from Yunwu), covered with tea plants.
